DDR2-1000 (PC2-8000) 1000MHz
Latest DDR RAM memory standard, designed for new motherboards with DDR2 sockets. These modules have 240 pins and support higher capacities and bandwidths than earlier memory standard. Most DDR2 modules have a CAS latency of CAS5. PC2-8000 is rated to run up to 1000 Mhz on suitable motherboards.

Compatibility
DDR2 memory is only suitable for new motherboards with support for DDR2 memory. Do not attempt to use DDR2 memory in motherboards supporting ordinary DDR RAM!
